Mark messages as read

Marks the listed messages as read by your company. It changes your unread counts only — the participant is not told and nothing is sent.

Bearer token — Send your API token in the Authorization header as Bearer <token>. Requests without a valid token are rejected with 401 Unauthorized.

Response

200 · The messages were marked read. The response has no body.

401 · The access token is missing, expired, or not valid.

The messages marked are exactly the ones you list in messageIds. The chat in the URL is not used to select them — to clear a whole chat at once, use the mark-all endpoint instead.
