Owner transfers

Disburse owner distributions

Pays owners out of their properties, one group per owner and method: a printed check, a payment made outside MagicDoor, or an ACH transfer to the owner's payment account. Each group carries its own distribution date, which may not be in the future, and ACH groups ignore it. The response is one flat list, with a per-group success or failure.

Response

200 · One disbursement per group. A 200 does not mean every group succeeded — check each `status`.

The properties the money came out of, resolved.

checksobject[]

The checks created by any printCheck groups, ready to print — including number, amount in words, stub rows and MICR line. Absent when no check was created.

400 · `groups` or a group's `lines` is empty, an amount is below 1.00, `distributionDate` is in the future, or a required field for the chosen `paymentType` is missing — `paymentMethod` and `externalTransactionId` for `manual`, `paymentMethodId` for `ach`.

401 · The access token is missing, expired, or does not belong to a property manager.

404 · An owner, property, bank account or chart of account in the request does not exist for the caller's company.

422 · The disbursement was refused — for example a property does not have enough available to distribute.
