Property managers

Delete a property manager

Permanently removes a property manager and their MagicDoor sign-in. Unlike most things in MagicDoor this is a real delete, not a soft one, and there is nothing to undo it with.

Authorization

Path parameters

propertyManagerIdstringrequired

The property manager. A Snowflake id, sent as a decimal string.

example: 1830472847398404098

Response

200 · The property manager and their user account were removed. The response has no body.

401 · The access token is missing, expired, or does not belong to a property manager.

404 · No property manager with that id exists for the calling company. A record that belongs to another company is reported the same way as one that does not exist. The id you asked for is in `entityId`; `detail` names only the kind of record.

422 · Either you tried to delete yourself, or the property manager is the company's last active one.

This one really deletes

The property manager row is removed from the database and the matching MagicDoor user is deleted. There is no deleted flag to filter on, no reactivate endpoint, and no way to get the record back. Records this person created keep their id in the creator field, and that id will no longer resolve to anybody.

If what you want is to stop someone signing in, use activate or deactivate a property manager instead. That is reversible and keeps the record.

  • You cannot delete yourself — the caller's own id is rejected.
  • You cannot delete an active property manager when they are the only active one left in the company.

A property manager who is already deactivated can always be deleted, even if they are the only one.
