Vendor categories

List vendor categories

Returns every vendor category defined for the company. Categories group vendors by the kind of work they do, such as electrical or landscaping. Requires the vendor_categories:read permission.

Bearer token — Send your API token in the Authorization header as Bearer <token>. Requests without a valid token are rejected with 401 Unauthorized.

Response

200 · A JSON array of categories. There is no pagination envelope and no paging parameters — every category the company has is returned. The properties below are those of each element.

idstringrequired

The category. Send this value wherever a vendorCategoryId is asked for.

namestringrequired

The category name shown to staff, for example "Electrical".

401 · The request carried no valid access token.

403 · The token is not a property manager token, or it lacks the `vendor_categories:read` permission.
