Properties

Get a property's photo

Redirects to the property's main photo at full size. A property with no photo redirects to MagicDoor's stock property image, so this never fails just because no photo was set.

GET
https://api.portal.magicdoor.com/company-app/properties/{propertyId}/image.webp

Authorization

Authorizationstringrequired
Bearer token — Send your API token in the Authorization header as Bearer <token>. Requests without a valid token are rejected with 401 Unauthorized.

Path parameters

propertyIdstringrequired

Snowflake id of the property, as a decimal string.

example: 1830472847398404097

Response

302 · `Location` points at the uploaded file, or at MagicDoor's stock property image when the property has no photo.

401 · The access token is missing, expired, or not for this company.

404 · No property with that id, or it belongs to another company.

This returns a redirect, not an image

The response is a 302 with a Location header — follow it to get the bytes. The .webp in the path is part of the route name, not a conversion instruction: the file you land on keeps whatever format it was uploaded in.

The fallback hides missing photos

A property with no photo, and a property whose photo has gone missing from file storage, both redirect to the same MagicDoor stock image. If you need to know whether a real photo exists, read imageId from the property instead.
