List maintenance request categories

Returns every maintenance request category defined for the company. Categories are the labels a maintenance request can be filed under, such as plumbing or HVAC. Requires the maintenance_request_categories:read permission.

Response

200 · A JSON array of categories. There is no pagination envelope and no paging parameters — every category the company has is returned. The properties below are those of each element.

The category. Send this value wherever a maintenanceRequestCategoryId is asked for.

companyIdstringrequired

The company that owns the category.

namestringrequired

The category name shown to staff, for example "Plumbing".

descriptionstring

A longer explanation of what belongs in the category. Absent when none was set.

createdstring · date-timerequired

When the category was created, in the company's timezone and without an offset.

updatedstring · date-timerequired

When the category was last changed, in the company's timezone and without an offset.

401 · The request carried no valid access token.

403 · The token is not a property manager token, or it lacks the `maintenance_request_categories:read` permission.
