# Remove an override group

Deletes every override written together under one `groupId`, undoing a multi-target override call in a single request. Each affected entity falls back to whatever its parent level says. Requires the `settings:delete` permission.

**Authentication:** bearer token in the `Authorization` header, as `Bearer <token>`.

## Path parameters

- `settingsType` (enum<string>, required) — Which family of settings to act on. Matched case-insensitively against the registered settings types. - `groupId` (string, required) — The group to remove, as returned in the `groupId` of the rows written by a multi-target override call. Example: `9f3c1a72-5f18-4b6d-9f0a-2c3d4e5f6a7b`.

## Responses

### 200 — The group was removed, or no rows matched. The response has no body.

### 401 — The access token is missing, expired, or invalid.

### 403 — The caller does not hold the `settings:delete` permission.

### 404 — No settings type is registered under the `settingsType` in the URL.

> A `groupId` that matches nothing is not an error — the call succeeds and nothing changes.
